Welcome to Telluride Hockey:

Our purpose is to provide the organization required to promote the sport of ice hockey in Telluride.

Our mission is to make ice hockey available for all ages and abilities in a safe and fun environment as prescribed by our national governing body, USA HOCKEY.  

Lizard Head Hockey at the Hanley Rink

  • The Telluride Lizard Heads and the Parks and Recreation Department offer Ice Hockey for boys and girls ages 5 - 18.
  • All Youth Ice Hockey players should register by the deadline of Monday, October 24th at 5:00 p.m. Late registrations will be accepted until team rosters are full, but not after December 31st, 2005.
  • Get the paperwork at the Parks and Recreation office in Town Park or click below for the forms you need. Waiver forms, code of conduct pledge, registration form, Parent Education Promise, and copy of birth document are required.

  • If your child needs a team uniform ( jersey or socks ) please call Barb Swain at 970-728-4792 or email her at swain2@adelphia.net and order your uniform separately through the Lizard Head Hockey Club.  The uniform order form is included with the registration packet, which you can download in pdf format above.

  • All programs begin practicing the week of October 31st. Check the Rink Schedule for a list of practice times. We offer traveling programs for the Mites, Squirts, Peewees, U- 12 girls, U-19 Girls, Bantams and Midgets. All teams will be affiliated with USA Hockey, CAHA, The Lizard Head Hockey Club and the Telluride Parks and Recreation Dept.

2008-2009 Mountain Village Residents!

The Telluride LizardHead Hockey Club and Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association have teamed up to offer scholarships on a need basis to Mountain Village residents for youth hockey ages 5-19.  Scholarships could include players fees and equipment.Please send an e-mail application with name, address, and contact info (phone number and e-mail) to Club President Teddy Errico along with a letter  of request for the scholarship to Teddy@TeddyErrico.com
